These drawings were made between September 2023 and September 2024. They were drawn in biro, alcohol marker and coloured pencil, with an attitude of allowing everything to pour through - whimsical and serious, sacred and profane. Sprawling plants and medieval marginalia jostle against scraps of poetry rendered in bubble lettering and stills from anime. The optional frames are made out of cardboard, masking tape and acrylic paint, which become part of the strange shifting realms of the images and resolves an ongoing frustration with regular picture frames.
